Simple Woman's Daybook October 22, 2011

I haven't done one of these for awhile, so I figured I'd pick it back up.

Outside my window...it is bright and sunny and warming up. It will probably be in the 70s today. Perfect walking weather.

I am thinking...oh good gracious, I hope that consistent discipline makes this fit-pitching stage my almost two-year-old daughter short-lived.

I am thankful...that it is the weekend, so I'll get to spend more time with my husband.

I am learning ...how to be a better help meet to my husband.

In the kitchen...I have a few dishes in the sink that need to get done.

I am wearing...a long-sleeved t-shirt and a pair of maternity denim capris (I'm 29 weeks pregnant).

I am creating...crocheted hats for my daughters (both born and pre-born) as well as my SIL's new baby, 2 women in my Sunday School class who are due in the next 2 months, and my friend's 17 month-old daughter.

I am going...to get some major cleaning and organizing done today, Lord willing. I'm nesting already.

I am wondering...what God has in store for me this weekend.

I am reading..."The Excellent Wife" by Martha Peace. Well, I'm listening to the unabridged version on audiobook.

I am hoping...that my parents have safe flights to and from their vacation.

I am looking forward to...the next time we go hiking in the western NC mountains.

I am hearing...ine of our cats eating.

Around the house...Sweet Pea (who has been rather sour today) is down for a nap, DH is on the computer, and I'm about to start cleaning.

I am pondering...nothing much right now. I'm kind of tired.

One of my favorite things...Silk Chocolate Almond Milk

A few plans for the rest of the week: take some walks as long as the weather stays nice, get more cleaning and organizing done, and most importantly, stay focused on Jesus.

  1. That's a whole lot of crocheting you've got planned! Something productive to do when you're ready to rest your feet. I like Silk Vanilla Almond Milk myself. Gotta try the chocolate one.

    Have fun nesting!
